It's very cold right now... And soon, the summer and hot days will end...

I'm not unhappy to see the winter come again, but I'm very sad to realize that the last storm of the year is already behind me... No more lightning photography this year !

Or..... Maybe ?

If nature can't give me storms any more this year, I will try to make my own !!!

Yeah, a new project has emerged of my mind : building a Tesla coil !

I've passed the last few weeks searching documentation about that, to find the right components to use, advice from other Tesla coil builders, learning a lot of things about electronics and Tesla coil physics... And tonight, I've just placed several orders to get components I need ! I will receive them in about a week or two.

I don't know if I will manage to make a working Tesla coil, but anyway it will be a very interesting and instructive project. It will occupy me for this winter.

I will post news about the advancement of this project when I can, during important steps, and maybe some photos of the construction. And of course, some photos of Tesla coil lightnings if it works !
